《高分子化学原理》一书成书较早,作者是高分子界享有盛名的1974年度诺贝尔化学奖获得者P. J. 弗洛里。经过长达半个多世纪的考验,该书已经成为公认的高分子化学经典教科书,培养了几代高分子科学家。本书系高校化学及相关专业高分子科学入门教材,尽管未包括聚合物力学性质和高分子动力学或动态性质等方面的内容,但对聚合反应及反应动力学以及高分子溶液性质等均有系统讨论。
