中国日报，中国日报社有20多名编辑记者参与了这项历时一年多，行程几十万公里的采访项目。他们来自中国日报非洲版编辑部，经济部，摄影部，欧洲分社，美国分社。其中不乏经验丰富且活跃在外宣靠前线的资历记者。如：中国日报评论部主任邢志刚，中国日报驻华盛顿首席记者陈卫华，中国日报驻欧盟首席记者付敬，中国日报驻内罗毕首席记者李连星，等。他们都亲自带队深入非洲大陆，并亲自执笔写出有极强外宣角度的稿子。

由中国日报、中非民间商会、中非发展基金编的《中国企业在非洲(2015英文版)(精)》是关于近百家中资企业在非洲投资的故事。 中国日报社，中非民间商会和中非发展基金达成合作协议，三方计划共同出版一本画册，介绍一批在非洲投资发展的中国企业。 中非民间商会在2000多家投资非洲的企业中，精选出近百家。在过去的一年多时间里，中国日报社先后派遣四路特派记者，动员中美非欧等海内外国际传播团队行程数万公里，足迹遍布几十个非洲国家，做了深入细致的采访。中国日报的采访不但涵盖了大型国有企业，也包括小型民营企业，投资涉及农业、基础设施、加工制造、资源开发、金融、商贸物流等多个领域，用文字和大量的图片记录了中国企业扎根非洲当地、融入当地、造福当地的生动侧面。通过一个个生动鲜活的事例，该画册传递给读者的信息是：中非人民是命运共同体，我们相互支持、相互帮助，实现合作共赢的中非梦。因此此画册也是对于某些西方势力散布的所谓中国“新殖民主义”论的有力反击。 所有90多篇稿件均已在中国日报非洲版“中资企业在非洲”专栏发表过，收到大量积极的中外读者反馈。
