刘素素，女，生于山东，香港城市大学应用社会科学系博士，苏州大学社会学院讲师，苏州大学首届很好青年学者。主要研究方向为社会工作理论、社会老年学、社会支持网络与社会资本。目前承担江苏省高校哲学社会科学项目“草根志愿组织社会资本的建构与利用”；在SSCI期刊、CSSCI期刊等发表论文8篇。

香港是华人社会中率先进入老龄化时代的地区之一。日渐增多的老年人口，不仅对经济、养老、家庭产生了新的挑战，同时引发了学界对如何积极应对老龄化、使老人安享晚年等议题的讨论。本书通过对香港社区老人的实证研究，建构了适用于中国老年人的“正向老龄化”模型和测量维度，揭示了社会支持网络的构成、功能对老人实现正向老龄化的重要贡献，也验证了不同应对方式的相关作用。本书按社会科学研究的思路展开，拥有详实的文献梳理和对研究结果的专业解读，可以为相关领域的研究者和有兴趣的读者提供参考。

Hong Kong, as a spe administrative region of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), embraces a large density of the Chinese population, of which the older population is booming. It is one of the fastest‐aging societies in the world with a high proportion of older adults among the Asia Pacific regions. Though many older adults are healthy, the burgeoning older population has elicited new risks and opportunities to facilitate a positive experience of aging for older adults. In Hong Kong, the number of community-dwelling elderly accounts for over 90 percent of the population of older adults. As to the older adults living in the community, how can they live positively and continue to contribute to family and society at an old age? The present study aims to examine the concept of positive aging, identifying its definition, components and implications, and exploring two main influencing variables (e.g., so support networks and coping), taking Hong Kong as a case study.
