王志强(David Wang)

英国剑桥大学硕士，美国新泽西州立大学Rutgers商学院工商管理硕士，南京大学英语语言文学学士。曾在政府、外企和私营企业工作，有多年外事、商业、翻译和英语培训经验，现为常春藤100教育SAT英文讲师，已出版两本SAT教材。日常兼任温哥华公校老师，拥有卑诗省教育部颁发的教师执照，专业辅导英文、社会学、经济、会计、市场营销、AP经济等高中和大学预科学分课程，其严谨的治学态度、深厚的文学造诣、独到的思维训练及理论与实践相结合的教学模式深受广大学生和家长的好评。

内容简介： 本书侧重SAT阅读考试词汇部分的讲解和训练，所收入的3500个单词出自SAT考试词库，每个单词的释义均采用SAT考试中常见的词义和用法，因此具有很强的针对性和实用性。通过对SAT词汇辨析、举例、归类，帮助学生熟悉、掌握、牢记和活用SAT词汇，攻克SAT阅读部分的拦路虎——词汇关，使SAT词汇从对手变成朋友，助众多学子成功踏进美国名校的大门。

1. 入选的3500个单词均出自SAT词库熟练掌握SAT词库的词义和用法，考生有望为取得SAT高分打下坚实基础。 2. 攻坚有道为帮助考生克服畏难情绪，本书将3500个单词分解成76个单词表，每个单词表约40~50个单词，以便于考生制定学习计划，循序渐进地各个击破。如按照一周两个单词表的进度，考生应该在38周（约三个季度）内完成全书内容。为了增强实用性，本书在每个章节的释义部分后面附有选词填空和多项选择两类练习题，训练学生在生动、具体的情形和语境中练习完成句子，从而掌握词义和用法。实践证明，通过上下文和形象思维来理解、记忆、辨析、积累词汇是极为行之有效的方法。 3. 本版新增内容    除新增易混淆词汇辨析、举例、说明及同义词归类内容外，本版还增加了近300道完成句子练习，为考生练习模拟SAT考试提供全新的仿真体验。另外，本书在正文中穿插了10个串词成段趣味游戏的内容，穿插在正文部分，这些游戏抽选各章节单词表中15~20个单词，串成一段记叙文、独白或内省性短文，内容涉及自然、文学、历史、大众文化、现代生活等，借助讽刺和幽默，让学生在享受诙谐的同时掌握SAT单词，既增强了本书的趣味性，也给学生示范了活学活用SAT词汇的一种方法。

由王志强编著的《新SAT词汇及练习（2016）／美国名校入学考试指导系列》一书共分74个章节，每个章节涵盖45～50个单词。作为本书实用性的具体体现，每章释义部分后面附有选词填空和多项选择两类练习题，目的是训练学生在具体的情形和语境中练习造句，从而掌握词义和用法。除了每章后面的练习题外，正文部分后面还增加了5组完成句子练习，作为正文练习部分的补充。常春藤100教育的教学实践证明，通过上下文和形象思维来理解、记忆、积累词汇是极为行之有效的方法。 本书练习题中所选用的句子多数选自英美作家和主流媒体，有相当一部分是作者撰写的，范围涵盖文史、音乐、艺术、科学、政治、经济、哲学、宗教、社会学、心理学、生物学、考古学、人类学等，内容基本与SAT考题对接。通过使用本书，考生能够熟悉SAT经常涉及的知识领域、考题形式和特点，为在正式考试时从容应对打下基础。
