邱晴，女，江西南昌人，党员，中山大学英语语言文学博士，江西师范大学国际教育学院讲师、系副主任，江西师范大学心理学博士后科研流动站在研人员。研究方向：系统功能语言学，多模态话语分析，语篇分析。近三年来，主持完成江西省省级课题2项，厅级课题1项，在研省级课题1项。近五年独著或以第一作者身份发表论文10余篇(其中CSSCI论文5篇)。2017年入选为江西省高层次人才。入选2018江西师范大学“青年英才培育资助计划”。

本书以中国儿童绘本为例，以系统功能语言学和社会符号学为指导，探索语言和图像符号系统在多模态绘本概念、人际和组篇等意义建构方面的协同互补，关注两者所激活和表征的意义总量差异及语义赋值异同。本书是研究中国语境下多模态话语中图文关系的一次积极探索，为系统功能语言学、多模态话语分析和图文互补研究的本土化提供了新的研究视角。
