    李双玲著的《短语学在篇章意义构建中的作用--基于语料库的高频名词措词研究(英文版)》中的研究主要基于语料库语言学的方法论,通过语料对措词进行分析。该研究方法具有许多优势:靠前,语料库的研究是基于计算机的软件分析(computer-based),这意味着数据分析的速度和规模都是远远胜于传统的语言研究方法的;第二,语料库的研究基于真实的语言数据(authentic data),其分析结果展示的将是人类实际使用语言的特征,而非人类语言中可能出现的特征,也就是说,语料库语言学是采用实证主义的态度,与自然科学的学科研究类似,其分析建立在真实数据的基础上;第三,语料库的研究比传统语言分析更具有科学性(scientific approach)和客观性,对语料的分析不依赖于研究者的语感和经历,而是从数据的质和量上进行统计和分析,更加可靠。
